WELCOME TO KANAPAHA VETERINARY SERVICES
Kanapaha Veterinary Services is a large animal ambulatory practice serving North-Central Florida. Our service area includes (but not limited to) Gainesville, Newberry, Archer, Alachua, High Springs, Lake Butler, Lacrosse, Ft. White, Lake City, Live Oak, Trenton, Chiefland, Bell, Bronson, Williston and Micanopy. 

Our practice treats backyard to performance horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas, pigs and occasionally large-breed exotic species.  Services include preventative care, vaccinations, dentistry, emergency care, surgery, lameness evaluation, shock wave therapy, acupuncture, pre-purchase exams, in-house Coggins testing, digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy. Our veterinarians - Eric Hiers and Jill Barabas - have trucks equipped to provide full service care in a field setting.
